How to Roleplay

Role-playing is very easy to learn, and it's also very fun! Once you learn how to do it, you'll never want to stop, it's like a drug! Anyways, here is an easy tutorial i made for anyone out there who doesn't know how to role play!


First things first, to role-play, what you must do is create a character, then go to one of the forums, such as the Leaf village Academy, for instance. Here is an Example role play, using an imaginary character, okay? My characters name is Tekemi:


Tekemi slowly took a step forward onto the damp soil. He made his pupils scan the garden, to see if anyone was here. He reached into his backpack and pulled out a water bottle. He slowly walked over to a shady oak tree, and sat under the tendrils of branches that crawled up the tree. He wiped his sweaty forehead and slid the cap off the water bottle. He slowly took a sip and gulped it down, like he had never tasted water before. He let out a slight grunt, after he swallowed the last of the liquid, and looked into the bright, blue sky.

"We'll, i guess I'm done here" said Tekemi as he slowly got up, hearing a noise in the bushes to the right of himself. He turned to it and gave a smirk, his hands clenched as he heard another rustle in the bushes "Today's my lucky day, i get to see a prairie dog" he said smirking as a little rodent jumped out of the bush, startling Tekemi as he backed away. It bit his leg, and Tekemi let out a yelp, then finally running away.


So basicly, role playing is like making a mini story, get it? Good. And remember, for every line of character speech, please put these: "blah blah blah" okay? Good, now, when role playing, make it descriptive and fun to read! And if you're roleplaying to fighting another person / NPC, then always give them a chance to react, don't do this:

Kerry saw a glance of the Kunai rocketing towards her, she jumped out of the way and gave a slight smirk, she threw a dozen shuriken and it hit the target, knocking him out.

NO!!! Thats also called god-moding [Read the rules]. It's annoying, and stupid, so don't do it! Now, heres the right way:

Kerry saw a glance of the Kunai rocketing towards her, she jumped out of the way and gave a slight smirk, she threw a dozen shuriken at the small ninja, waiting to see if the shuriken would be a hit or a miss, she was wanting it to be a hit!

Like that, except longer, more deiscriptive and, you get the point .\
